Each year, Firepenny will award $5,000 in Firepenny store credit to one volunteer or volunteer-majority fire station to support operational needs, equipment, and gear.
This isn’t a traditional grant.
It’s a community-driven opportunity to tell your story, showcase your station, and highlight the realities of volunteer fire service.

Combination departments with a majority volunteer membership
One entry per station
What’s Required
Applicants will submit:
A 10-minute video sharing their station’s story
A 60–90 second Instagram reel (tagging @firepennyequip and #firepennyfunds2026)
A favorite station recipe (yes—food matters)
Application, signed media and recipe release forms
Creativity, authenticity, and impact matter more than production quality.

Managed by a designated station representative

You do not need to purchase anything from Firepenny to apply or be selected.

How We Choose
Firepenny Funds applications are reviewed by a Firepenny panel with experience supporting volunteer fire stations. We look for stations that demonstrate real need, authenticity, and community impact—where Firepenny Funds can make a meaningful difference. Storytelling matters more than production quality, and creativity, effort, and alignment with Firepenny’s mission to Equip the Bravest with the Best are key considerations.
No purchase is necessary to apply or be selected, and prior Firepenny purchases do not affect selection. One station is chosen each year following thoughtful review, and Firepenny’s decision is final.
